International Business

In the International Business strand, students focus on accounting, international business, business finance and personal law. The purpose of this program is to prepare students for entry-level management trainee positions in the international business environment. Students are introduced to the concept of a global economy with attention given to economic, cultural, and political factors affecting international business. Program completers develop the appreciation, knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to work and live in a global marketplace. The appropriate Career Student Organization for this strand is Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). This organization provides leadership and technical skills and activities for students as an integral part of the instructional components.
