Students who choose a career in Major Appliances and Refrigeration Technology install, service, and repair many kinds of small and large gas, electrical, and microwave appliances.
They may repair refrigerators, ranges, washing machines, hot-water heaters using hand tools.
The content of this program includes but is not limited to Communication skills, Leadership skills, Human relations and Employ ability skills, Safe and Efficient work practices, Electrical and Refrigeration skills, Analyzing, Diagnosing and repairing washers, dryers, dishwashers, trash compactors, ranges, refrigerators, freezers, microwave ovens, and window air conditioners.
