Medical Assisting

The Medical Assisting strand offers students the opportunity to earn a certification in EKG at the end of their Junior year in high school. During the Senior year of high school, the student will be working in both a clinical setting and class room setting earning credit hours towards the medical assisting certificate. The student will also be offered the opportunity to earn a certification as a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA). Immediately upon high school graduation, the student will be enrolled in Robert Morgan Educational Center’s post– secondary program to complete less than one summer trimester of study and complete their medical office receptionist and clinical medical assisting programs.
