Practical Nursing

The Nursing strand offers students the opportunity to earn a certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) at the end of their Junior year in high school. During the Senior year, the student will have a choice of either the Introduction to Practical Nursing (LPN) or the EKG/ Home Health Aide programs. The LPN student will be offered the opportunity to earn a certification as a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA). The EKG/HHA student will be offered an EKG certification. Upon graduation, the practical nursing students will be enrolled in Robert Morgan Educational Center’s post-secondary program to complete two trimesters of study and complete their program and take the NCLEX.
