Marchese, AngelTeacher of the Year Mr. Marchese!

Mr. Angel Marchese heads the Choral Program at Robert Morgan High School. He serves as VPA Department Chair and is also Chair Elect of Florida Vocal Association, District 16. He has served as guest conductor for the Miami-Dade Superintendent Honor Choir and has also served as Treasurer of the Dade County Music Educators’ Association. Marchese’s students have performed at Carnegie Hall in New York, National Honor Choir, Regional Honor Choir, State Honor Choir, All State Chorus and Superintendent Honor Choir. His choruses have been selected to perform at the Magnet Schools of America National Convention, Superintendent’s Opening of Schools, and various Town Hall meetings. Marchese’s choirs earned Superior ratings at the State level every year since joining Robert Morgan. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including FVA, ACDA, FMEA, and NAfME. Mr. Marchese’s professional singing career includes performances with Florida Grand Opera, Miami Lyric Opera, Barcelona Opera Studio (Spain), Toledo Opera (OH), Regina Opera (NY), Opera Company of Brooklyn (NY), Village Light Opera (NY). As a concert soloist, his credits include the Greater Miami Youth Symphony, La Rioja Zarzuela Festival (Spain), Opera Naples (FL), Florida Chamber Orchestra, Symphony of the Americas, Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra and Choral Symphony Society (NY). Marchese holds a Masters of Music in Choral Conducting from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Miami.
